Fire Risk Assessments

Fire Risk Assessments are law you have to have one.

Fire Risk Assessments are required by law.
But a poorly carried-out assessment is a waste of time — and a bad one can put you at serious risk of prosecution.
We help you properly identify all fire hazards and risks to your employees, occupants, and your business. You’ll receive clear, practical advice on how to identify, reduce, and eliminate risks, along with a full written report that demonstrates you meet your legal obligations.

Important Legal Changes – Effective 1 October 2023

Fire safety legislation has changed.
If anyone sleeps in the premises, the following now applies:
All smoke detectors must be hard-wired and radio-linked
Smoke detectors must be installed in every bedroom
Smoke detectors must also be installed in all living areas where there is no direct access to the outside
(for example, where escape requires using stairs or passing through a hallway)
Failure to comply can leave you non-compliant and legally exposed.
